Her birthday is on March 29th, 1985 in Roswell, New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza was her given name. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parents Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Stevenson is of Mexican origins, however she is American in nationality. Gerina has always been a fan of sports. Gerina began golfing when she was the age of 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. She was the winner of the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. Also, she played volleyball at the level of state. At the age of 2003, she began her studies at the University of Texas. During her senior years she was the winner of every competition she participated in. During undergraduate studies she won the titles that included Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
