Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress, is known for playing the lead in a variety of television shows as well as for her impressive performances in films. The popularity of her is shared by both Canadian and American television. Emily's love for acting first began when, at age 12 she was visiting her sister Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. Emily began attending classes in acting, and then auditioning when she realized that she had a passion for acting. She started out with a couple of ads, and was soon included in the show Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark, a Canadian horror show for kids. The only thing she could get was one that was silent. Her debut break came around the age of 15 when she was cast in the series of the WB called Glory Days as a regular. Emily's talent attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the show was cancelled after just nine episodes. The show's creator cast Emily in Everwood, his new TV show. Emily was also a dancer, as well as a photographer. Teen once named her among the best actors under the age of twenty. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.
